CALL FOR FACULTY POSITIONS – SCHOOL OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING


The School of Industrial Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV) invites applications for several academic positions at all ranks. Successful candidates will contribute to the research and teaching areas of the school and help strengthen its undergraduate and doctoral programs. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Systems Engineering, or closely related area. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in research and teaching in one or more of the following areas: Systems thinking, strategic organization theory, human resource management, marketing, operations management, supply chain management, asset management, economics, business engineering, data science, machine learning, stochastic modeling, and/or information technologies. Additionally, candidates are expected to show a strong commitment to high-quality research, teaching, and dissemination in their discipline, as well as
enthusiasm for collaborative and interdisciplinary work at an international level.

The salary and academic rank will be determined in accordance with the candidate’s qualifications and achievements. The offered salary is competitive on an international level and is complemented with research incentives and access to research funds.
