Instituto de Ingenieros de Chile entregó Premio “Ismael Valdés Valdés” a egresado de la EII

El Instituto de Ingenieros de Chile le entregó el Premio “Ismael Valdés Valdés” año 2012 al Ingeniero Civil Industrial de la PUCV, Antoine Joo Roux. El galardón se otorga al ingeniero, que se haya distinguido simultáneamente por poseer aptitudes para organizar y dirigir, condiciones morales y preparación técnica.
El Premio “Ismael Valdés Valdés”, se instituye en 1953 para perpetuar la memoria de este prestigiado Ingeniero, titulado en 1878 en la Universidad de Chile, que se distinguió por su dilatada y fructífera vida pública, en el campo político, gremial y filantrópico. Su meritoria trayectoria fue reconocida por el Instituto de Ingenieros de Chile al otorgarle la Medalla de Oro en 1938.
